ShadowHaven, A Monster Dating Demo
ShadowHaven is an interactive visual novel in which the player can choose between four different supernatural beings to date. On this project, I worked alongside three others and was given the opportunity to explore character poses, expressions, and background art. Each group member envisioned a character, and I created the final versions for gameplay.
Poe, the Living Dead Mayor
This was the character envisioned and designed by me. Despite his craving for brains, Poe is a proud academic as well as the self-appointed mayor of the town of ShadowHaven. Inspired by Nicholas Hoult's character from Warm Bodies and Ghoulia Yelps from Monster High, I wanted to create a zombie character that is highly intelligent, charmingly quirky, and often riddled with anxiety.
